Malpaís de Güímar

This loop is 6.6 km around the Malpaís de Güímar reservation surrounding the Volcán del Socorro. The hike will take you along a rugged land of volcanic lava, strange rock formations, a volcano and probably the tallest cactus you have ever seen, the "candelaria". We truly recommend good shoes as the path along the shore is made out of volcanic rock. The views are really nice and you will definitely enjoy this hike.
