El Bosque Encantado

This is a 2-8 km hike depending how far you want to walk. No loops so you will hike out and back. You will probably find the Sendero El Bosque Encantado resembling scenes from a dinosaur movie. This was a botanical garden from the early 1920s. It has many walkways with varying plants. The trails provide shade and a pleasant place to relax. Be careful as many of the trails are extremely slippery. If you expect "scenic views" you will probably be a little disappointed because the vegetation and brush is thick. But here and there you can get a glimpse over the northern coast villages Almáciga and Benijo. You will find the Bosque Encantado in the eastern side of the Anaga forest along TF-123. There is plenty of parking spaces.
